I must confess I do spend a lot of time on Flickr, rambling through my groups and contacts, jumping from one to another... I love this website, you can just find favorites. I took one the other day from My Paper Gardens, and kept thinking about it. (I don't want to infringe any copyright's issues so I give you the link, not the picture itself).
The picture below is what I did with my French vintage papers, with the inspiration from My Paper Gardens. Of course, I ended with something totally different :
The background is painted and stamped with acrylic colors, then it's only different papers in different colors, different letters density. It's amazing what you can do with only printed paper. I guess I could now make some colored papers with watercolor and go further.
I don't post often, as I'm for the moment working full time, it's difficult to find time/energy/desire to make stuff and blog about it, but it should be better within a week or so, when I'll go back to school.
Have a nice week !
