Little bag tutorial

To you... Here it's mostly a lover's celebration, so I guess DH will be around flowers today.

So here is a little bag with hearts as flowers. It's quite easy to make :

decide height of the bag, I did it to use a small zipper I had in the correct color, so it's 15 cm tall. Draw a half circle that size, and appliqué little hearts and leaves on the outer circle.









Make some quilting lines in concentric lines, and make the bottom of bag as a quilted circle. Now you need to assemble everything together.

Prepare a bias in matching fabric, although it doesn't need to be bias, it can be straight.







Assemble the handler on top, and sew bias by machine. It's easier to make just one side from the outside.







Then baste zipper in place under bias. Stitch both sides of zipper. This part is the most tricky to do, believe me !







From the wrong side (and don't forget to let the zipper open to turn over the bag after !) assemble circle base to the bag. You can do this by machine stitching, as close as possible of edges.

Turn around your bag and enjoy !

Small and pretty bag, to fill with chocolates.
